Arctic Cove Misting Bottle ~ Reviews By Rene’

Arctic Cove Misting Bottle – Hey Readers!  How is summer going for you?  It is hot and nasty humid here in Oklahoma!  (Summer 2017)   I wanted to tell you about this nifty item the Hubs bought for me a couple of years ago.  I was doing some camp nursing, and again, it was Oklahoma hot and humid!  The Hubs ran across the Arctic Cove Misting Bottle and bought it right before I headed out.  I was actually skeptical,

thinking he had waisted money.  It wasn’t long before I had to eat crow! I actually loved having this with me at camp.

Since then I have used the Arctic Cove Misting Bottle many times.  Now, before I tell you all the great things about this item, let me tell you what it is not.  It is not a toy.  It is not for hiking/backpacking.  It is not cheap.  However, do you camp?  Do you like to pull up a folding chair and throw a line in the water?  Do you sit at outdoor sports games?  Did the air break in your car or house?  These are the times when you would want to have the Arctic Cove Misting Bottle.

Here is how it works:

    • Fill with water
    • Place pump into container
    • Pump up until there is decent resistance
    • Use lever to turn on the continuous mist of water
    • Adjust valve to your liking
    • If you need to step away from the misting bottle just close the level

If mist weakens before you are done with your Arctic Cove Misting Bottle, you may need to pump and build up the pressure again. When you are done with your misting bottle, be sure and release the pressure when storing.  If you are going to store the bottle for a while, dump out the water.

Well, that was short and sweet, but that was all the time I really needed to tell you about this handy little item!

  1. Oh, yum. This mister sounds like quite the thing. I could use it here in Michigan, even. It’s so hot and humid here this summer and I like to sit outside on my porch while I work. (Ah, the benefits of working from home, right?) It refreshes me just thinking about it. 🙂 Thanks for sharing! I’m going to have a look at it.

    1. Thanks so much for taking time to read and comment! You are correct! This would work great for hot and/or humid porch sitting! Just don’t spray your laptop!
